19-June-2016, Father’s Day sail. First time with my grandson.
Had a fun Father’s Day sail with my wife, daughter, son in-law and grandson Eli. It was the first time Eli came sailing on “Pop’s” boat. We docked off about 10:00 and were back a couple hours later so Eli could get home for his afternoon nap.
He did very well and helped me on the helm, raise the sails and handle jib sheets when we tacked.
I think we have a sailor in the making!

My brother Rich and I had a great afternoon sailing in winds that were mostly 15-25 knots. We put a reef in the mainsail right away. We did record a gust to 29 knots. Our GPS speed touched 8.1 knots. It was a fun time.
