31-July-2021 – Newest (and youngest) member of the crew comes sailing for the first time

Winds were mostly light and variable.

24-July-2021- Winds 10 – 15 with gusts to 30 knots on Lake Michigan. We had some heel on.

Winds were 12 when we headed out and raised the sails and then shortly thereafter we had a gust of 24 knots.

Forecasted storms arrived a couple hours early and caught us out on the Lake. One gust was to 26 while we had the sails up and we also saw 30 knots after we had lowered the sails.

Shifty winds for an afternoon Lake Michigan sail. We saw 2 – 15.5 knot winds, up and down. From the south to the west and back to the south.
