22-October-2016 – Flying our new headsail for the first time.
Flew our new headsail (new for us) for the first time. I bought it at Bacon Sails (www.baconsails.com) when I was in Annapolis for the Sailboat Show. They were running a show special with everything 20% off. I am very happy with the sail. It is a lot heavy dacron (5.5 oz.) compared to our old genoa meaning we can fly it with winds to 15 knots. Before heading out for the day’s sail we filled up the fuel tank and pumped out the holding tank in preparation for hauling the boat for the winter.
15-October-2016 – “Breezy” day with winds blowing 10 to 20 with gusts to 27 knots.
7-October-2016 – 2016 Annapolis Sailboat Show
Took a road trip to the Annapolis Sailboat show. I’ve never seen so much sailboat related stuff in one place!
